Shudu Lake is located in the northeastern of Shangri-la County, about 35 kilometers away from the county seat. When you come to study in China, you may hear the altitude of it is about 3,705 meters. With a pond area of 15 square kilometers, it is one of the largest lakes in the county. There is a kind of fish named Liefu Fish in the crystal clear water. Foreign students who study in China can see the fish with golden body has a flaw in the belly. It is also delicious to eat.

Besides, there are also many other plants and animals live in Shudu Lake such as wild ducks and lagenaria siceraria. If you go there when you learn Chinese language in China, you can see the lake is surrounded by the dense primitive forests. The animals like bear, panther and deer are living in the forests. One thing the students who study in China should know is that Shudu carris the meaning of the place with plenty milk. With large and wide grass field, it is a perfect pasture to breed the sheep.
