On 12th 2012, a teacher’s activity was held. Keats school invited all teachers to taste Yunnan food in a high-class restaurant. Many teacher come from the north of China, so all teachers chose to have cross bridge rice noodles.

In Yunnan, cross bridge rice noodles are very famous and popular. As we know, the southern Chinese people get used to take rice as the main food, and they prefer rice noodles very much. Everyone in Yunnan knows the beautiful story of cross bridge rice noodles. If you want to know more about it, we will tell you in details while you studying Chinese at Keats School. All teachers are very happy to get together. They were chatting, playing games and taking photos. Everybody had tried cross bridge rice noodles before, but nobody tried such delicious one before. Every teacher had more than 7 dishes and one tasty chicken soup on the table. There were fresh vegetables, chicken, pork, fish, mushrooms, pickles and so on.

Besides the delicious food, there was a wonderful minority show with singing and dancing in the restaurant. And all the actors and singers were minority groups or came from Thailand. All teachers were impressed by the wonderful performance.

It was so good to have dinner with other teachers together to spend a wonderful night. We were all looking forward the next teacher’s activity.
