For learning Mandarin Chinese in China, students beware!

Check that your chosen school that you want to study Chinese at, has an official license. If you choose a "place" that does not have a school license, your study, stay, visa, and the money you paid cannot be protected under Chinese law.

When you choose a place to learn Mandarin, please make sure that it has a school license.

There is only one Keats school, which is in Kunming. Keats School does not have any other branches in China. Keats School does not authorize any person or any other organization to use the name "Keats School ".

According to Chinese legislation, an individual who wants to establish a school to offer Chinese learning programs must fill out the necessary qualification application forms, which are available from the local government. After the government has checked the veracity of the information provided, such as education qualifications, ability to comply with the law regarding the operation, educational establishments, and proposed facilities, it will issue a school license. Only the school that has an official license can start to offer training courses. Only in this case, are both the students and the school protected by Chinese legislation.

Without a license, it is illegal to recruit students and start to offer educational classes.
