Xi‘an Terra Cotta Warriors

Summer Program in China Duration: June 16, 2012 to July 29, 2012, 6 weeks in total.

Students study Chinese and Chinese culture and volunteer at local communities in Kunming in the first 5 weeks. Students will travel to other cities (Dali, Lijiang, Beijing, Shanghai and Xian) in the last week.

The 1st weekend: Free (No Activities)
The 2nd weekend: Free (No Activities)
The 3rd  weekend: Free (No Activities)
The 4th weekend: Free (No Activities)
The 5th weekend: Leave for Dali: Ancient City, Butterfly Lake, Cang Mountrain and Erhai Lake. Leave for Lijiang by bus.

Sunday

The 1st weekend: Stone forest and Jiu xiang.
The 2nd weekend: Minority Village.
The 3rd  weekend: Western Hills and temples.
The 4th weekend: Golden Temple, Daguan Park and Yunnan Provincial Museum.
The 5th weekend: Lijiang: Ancient City, Dongba Valley

 

Week 6

Monday

Lijiang: Tiger Leaping Gorge, fly back to Kunming.

Tuesday

Leave for Xi’an by plane. Xi’an: Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses, Xi’an snacks.

Wednesday

Xi’an: Huaqing Hot Springs, Banpo Museum, Tang style performance. Leave for Beijing by train.

Thursday

Beijing: Great Wall.

Friday

Beijing: Ti’an Men Square and the Forbidden City. Leave for Shanghai by plane.

Saturday

Shanghai: Visit Expo, Visit Shanghai Oriental Pearl Tower.

Sunday

End of the program. Keats staff will send you to the airport.
